Crispy smashed potatoes are golden, crunchy on the outside, and tender on the inside—a simple side dish that always impresses. Ingredients
- Potatoes, steamed – great for leftover potatoes!
- olive oil
- parmesan cheese, grated
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- salt and pepper
How to make Crispy Smashed Potatoes
Preheat the oven and cast iron pizza pan to 425.
Once the pan is preheated, place the steamed potatoes on to it. Use leftover whole baby potatoes or quartered large potatoes.
Using the bottom of a mason jar, smash the potatoes down as thin as possible.
Drizzle with olive oil and season.
Sprinkle on some parmesan cheese and bake for 30 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
